Woods of Desolation - Toward the Depths

Debut album, released last year. Excellent melancholic black metal, slow music and filled with great, somewhat dreamy, passages; the production is nice and raw, the vocals slightly lower in the mix which fits perfectly. The sound is very much reminiscent of Austere but WoD is far from being a copy. [Desolate from Austere also did some guest vocals and lyrics]
A great release!
