Avulse/Auspicium - I'll Still Laugh When All Around Me Is Dust
Split release from Northern Maine. Avulse plays d-beatish black metal with hints of Von, Beherit, and Blasphmey. Auspicium gives us two tracks; Mountains of Pamola (later on the Dawnland EP), and a cover of Swans' classic "God Damn the Sun".

This sounds like a great release, thanks!
Seems i was a bit wrong... how the hell do you make a split between two one-man bands when you're that one man in both?
Pointless release. Interesting Swans cover though.
Avulse, decent but nothing special.
Auspicium, great song and the swans cover is interesting.
FM,
I have had some time to ponder your statement and i agree. At the time, I was scheduled to put out a split as Avulse with a band called KVM, that fell through for the time being. The guy who did DSR still wanted to do an Avulse split, so somehow my half retarded ego thought that it would be a good idea and an interesting piece of art. Hindsight: 20/20. Do I regret releasing this? Not a chance. I'll leave regrets for the sheep we feed on. I do however wish I had approached this from a different angle, made it more of a psychological split (the same reason I started to do Avulse stuff, to keep Auspicium on its path). And I would wait and get better Avulse songs. Of the five on there I only really can listen to .21 and Ourorborus.
Khaos,
I'll email you the next auspicium link when i get a chance, I think its gonna be out in January.
Hey I know this doesnt really have anything to do with this album but can some1 tell me where I can get more of Swans? Thanks in advance.
