I think its good, i don't know what you guys are talking about.

Well to be honest, its sounds weird coming from the same guys who did for example PanzerFaust, but lets be honest The Darkthrone we want will never return, this is just another statement of the attitude of the band since nowadays black metal is trendy for them anyways. I think its an ok album, maybe time will tell.

Well , they DONT play black metal anymore ....so i have lost the interest simple. They are releasing some good punk-thrash stuff , not my cup of tea.

this album is not very good , just as the album cover ... but Darkthrone are fun and smart guy

Yeah, it really doesn't sound like black metal, sounds like punk! :S

Where do you think alot of black metal gets its influences? Not all from Death Metal and thrash. Punk elements are scattered all across the scene! Look at Goatmoon, Ildjarn, hell even Burzum!

Don't tell me that Stemmen Fra Tarnet does not have have a punk beat.

I freakin' love the band and the cover, they are what black metal once was with bands like VOIVOD back in 1984, raw as hell, evil METAL...I would say this album comes 23 years too late but hey, I love it. I mean, "Ablaze in the northern sky" was a helluva statement and a great album with great songs. Darkthrone will surely never be the 20 years old kids anymore they used to be while shredding out their hate paroles like "Transilvanian hunger" (for me their rawest but also least strong effort) and "Panzerfaust"..they are men in their mid 30s and still they just follow their way...this is even true satanism

it's always funny to see "traditional old school" metalheads getting desperate for the fact that things change... want old darkthrone back? go do it yourself, let the artists work damn it!
