Austere - To Lay Like Old Ashes

New album from this excellent Australian band. Anguished atmospheric black metal, the release is definitely more mature then their earlier releases; synths are more prominent giving it sometimes an almost orchestral feel (think Elysian Blaze) and also clean vocals are used quite a few times which is a refreshing element, but the overall sound is still very much in the vein of their early material so I don’t think fans will be disappointed.

This album could be great without that last track of 20 minutes... always the same rhythm... 20 minutes of no changes... I hate that... but the other tracks are awesome!! THNX!!! :D :D
