Embers - Shadows

Pretty decent black metal with flourishes of death metal. The songs have decent use of keyboards, without becoming cheesy or symphonic or just fucking lame. What is lame is the cover that is included/have on their bandcamp site. It has tour dates on it, so I am using another of their logos with it.

I'm glad you find the album not totally lame. I agree about the artwork. Kelly is putting the finishing touches on the real album cover. We put the music out in advance of our tour. Our original intention was to take it down after the tour, but we decided out of appreciation for all the support Embers got on tour that we'd let people continue to stream and download the music while we wait for the real artwork.

"Shawdows" Someone just pointed out the spelling error. Very funny.

Haha, I need to proof my titles I guess. I really enjoy the album, cover just caught me off guard. Here's hoping the new cover is deserving enough to be with the music.

Yeah, Kelly is doing the artwork, and she was annoyed to find that the tour dates were still up there. We've been super busy, but rest assured that shit is coming down. She may be taking it down as we speak. I love your "review" everyone else seems to make esoteric observations, throw out random made up genre's like "encrusted blackened doom thrash", and then reference obscure bands that no one's heard of. That's fine but it's good to get a break from that.
