Field of Spears - Serpent and Sodom

Slightly less off the wall than The Drunk and the Endless. Serpent and Sodom is a journey into a world of summers ending, occultism, and the power of "sin". Lo-fi Neofolk/neoclassical blend the ilk of Sol Invictus and Agalloch's neofolk material.

I will say it is much more cohesive than the prior album, being written all at once, sharing recurring themes (both musically and conceptually), and not cobbled together from ten drunken disparate sessions.
