Wow!! Do you have anything else by these guys? Totally Angelo Badalamenttiesque!
I'm pretty sure 'Vinterriket' means 'The Winter Realm/ The Real of Winter' 'Vinterrikke' is without the definite article as in 'Winter Realm', but the precise semantics are hard to capture in English, 'rikke' is a cognate to German 'Reich' and Dutch 'rijk' and even English 'rich' which is now used differently. Al though 'Reich' because of WWII has negative connotations in English, it has no such in German, observe:
Kingdom, Köninkreich, Koninkrijk
Empire, Kaiserreich, Kijzerrijk.
Land where there is winter, Winterreich, Winterrijk.
From English, German and Dutch. The first example most accurately captures the semantics of 'Rikke' I think. How '-dom' attached to 'king' produces 'kingdom', but words like 'Winterdom' are not grammatical but were they 'The Winterdom' probably was the best semantic translation of 'Vinterriket'.
