Pensées Nocturnes - Vacuum

Posting this only because it was requested by our collegue over at FTGG. This is the debut of a new French one-man band playing doom laden atmospheric black metal with classical influences; I found the album uninteresting and plain boring, a few good moments scattered around but overall a painfully average release in my opinion…

I think it has to grow on you a bit. Some of the songs can be a bit too long, but I've heard worse, too.

Not crazy about his vocals - he sounds like the vocalist from Macabre (not a good thing).

But the music is fine.

I've given it quite a few spins, just didn't do it for me...

I happen to like it quite a bit. It might help that I've stepped away from music for a little bit recently though

Wow dude, thanks very much for this! I would not have asked if there weren't somebody who requested it before me, of course.

I have yet to hear it so I will let you know what my thoughts are when I have!
