Gris - Il Était une Forêt...
Second album by these Canadians (first under their new name). This album is pretty much like “Neurasthénie”, only huge; the sound is louder and fuller, the band can really create an immersive wall of sound. The song-writing is just amazing and even though the album is quite lengthy it’s a pure joy to listen! Mandatory!!!!!

This was the first album I posted on my blog and perhaps you might even say I started my whole blog just for Il Était une Forêt. More than mandatory, indeed. Ram it down their throats.
I already have this album but i appreciate you posting it for it should be heard far and wide. This is a band/album that take chances and stick out in a very unique way with their sound and recording techniques...lots of weird stuff on this record to chew one. thanks
