Hey guys, I'll be posting here and there some stuff I hope you find interesting. If grind/power vioelnce's your thing check out my other blog Chainsaw Justice for reviews and downloads.

Anywho, here's Boreal, another Cascadian band, who now goes by the name of Wake (they've done a very good split with Skagos which I'll post eventually). Same kinda vibe as other bands of the scene (Skagos, Fauna, Leech, ETC) ambient, folkish at times, black metal. Intensely atmospheric stuff here. Very limited tape run from Eternal Warfare (a who's who of the Cascadian scene) Enjoy!

Really good stuff. Makes me proud to be a Cascadian. Greetings Flesh Monolith.

Hm, I have this tape but never realized this band became Wake, who are now split. Dylan from Wake is now doing Flesh Amulet with Nate from Leech, which I can't wait to hear. They're doing a folk project too, which should obviously be amazing as well.

There's seriously something in the water up there in Cascadia...

If that folk project goes by the name of "River", I've had the good fortune to come by a few tracks by them. I can drop them by you via if you like.

just to set the record straight since for some reason or another i happen to know this little bit of fact; boreal was once known as "A Sombre Boreal" not "Wake" eventhough the band wake was at one time called boreal. So in short, this particular band, "Boreal", is not "Wake".

What a great band, I remember buying the record on the same day my uncle told to help him find some information about Generic Cialis, because he is not very well with computers and the internet.
