Peste Noire

Peste Noire is a Black Metal band from France. They call their genre Anti Humanity Black Metal. Their lyrical themes include the Aesthetics of Evil, Decadent Poetry, Grimness etc.

The band derives its name from Peste Noire, which means Bubonic Plague in English, aka the Black Death, one of the worst disasters ever to befall Europe, eliminating 1/3 of its population during the 1340s.

According to its member(s), Peste Noire plays pure Black Metal for Satanic rituals. Peste Noire's forthcoming album "Folkfuck Folie" will be released in july.Peste Noire are going to play their first gig on June, 23rd 2007 in Lyon.Enjoy\m/
