Darkspace - Dark Space III

A description here is really not needed, but for those who’ve been living under a rock the last couple of years Darkspace play some of the best atmospheric black metal around; the music is at the same time chaotic, epic and bleak... Pure brilliance!!

Before i heard this band from descriptions i thought i would love them, but for some reason i feel something's missing. I love Nightbringer and dense winding hypnotic songs, but for some reason Darkspace doesn't do it for me. This is the only album i have, should i give ii or i a try?

Try II, that one has only three songs so it sinks in easier, but I can't guarantee anything

Love this album. I also kinda compared Nightbringer to Darkspace, but Darkspace is a much "spacier" band that very purposefully creates a denser-than-humanly-possible wall-of sound.

Hi,
Also check out Sun ov the blind, that's one of the guitarists solo work from Darkspace. I think Darkspace is a mood thing. You need to be ready for it. Reason is, they are pure intensity.

Many still do not understand the transcendence inherent in the musical proposal of Darkspace. There are a panacea of concepts that are completely pluggable. There is an existential philosophy that goes beyond humanity as the only symbol of rationality in the universe. Darkspace offers reflections from the gloom and desolation that settle in the human mind to the discomfort of his finitude. Malignancy overcomes Satanism and clashes against the hypothetical possibility of extraterrestrial life that somehow influence (or not) positively or negatively the inhabitants of our blue orb.

Three words: beautiful ambient darkness.
