Drowning the Light - A Pact with Madness

I haven’t listened to this band ever since their debut Drowned, that I actually enjoy. I still see that the production is as shitty as ever; on first listen everything seems so amateurish, but for some reason I kept listening to it and everything just made sense, except the first song I just can’t seem to digest. The music at times seems chaotic, but is actually quite atmospheric and the production really adds to the abysmal mood of the album. Make your own mind about this one, in my opinion this is a mandatory raw black metal album!

Drowning the Light's best. I enjoyed even the first song(although it is hard to digest).

What happens in the first song?

It would have been a much better album, musically, if they had cleaned up the vocal track.
