Remmirath - Polis Rouge

Debut album from this Slovakian band. Excellent “post-black metal”, the songs feature some great progressive playing, clean interludes as well as some psychedelic electronic parts; the black metal parts sometimes remind me of Negura Bunget, especially in the first part of the album; the production is crystal and a special note should go to the bass that sounds particularly good.
A strong release, very impressive for a debut, I’m expecting big things from these guys in the future!

Thank you for this fine release. Really great stuff, cosmic and dreamy, it has brought great inspiration to my person.

The bass is also what made Sólstafir's Masterpieces such a delight. I have high hopes for this one.
